(Company & Artistic Director)
Bath based Serena has always been passionate about performing, touring with a variety of theatre companies from her early twenties.
Prior to founding Freedom Theatre UK, Serena worked professionally for five years with the West Midlands based Saltmine Theatre Company.
During this time, she acted as company manager, also finding time to perform in the popular productions, “The Cross and the Switchblade,” and an adaptation of the C.S. Lewis story, “The Screwtape Letters.” She also made a dramatic impact with her portrayal of Joy Davidman, the wife of Lewis in her one woman show “Joy Observed.”
Serena has also written and directed a number of her own productions, and is an inspirational team leader and player with an infectious personality and sense of humour.
